Obituary	MRS. FRED CHANDLER Funeral services for Mrs. Annie L. Chandler, 80, of Garland, widow of Fred H. Chandler, who died early Tuesday at a Bangor hospital, were held Thursday afternoon at the First Universalist Church, Dexter. The Rev. Theodore A. Webb, pastor, officiated. Members of Wassookeag Chapter, OES, attended and conducted their service. Bearers were: Emery Adams of Garland, Hanford Crouse, Ray Wheeler and Everett Bennett, all of Dexter. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Dexter. She was born in Levant, June 18, 1870, the daughter of John and Huldah Butters. She was a member of the First Universalist Church of Dexter; Wassookeag Chapter, No. 44, OES, Garland Grange, Pomona, state and national Granges and the U. F. Club. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Agnes Taylor, of North Adams, Mass., Mrs. Dorothy Barr of Uxbridge, Mass., Mrs. Claire Shields, Barton, Vt., and Mrs. Ethel Quirk of North Brewer; 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, Albert J. Butters of Los Angeles, Cal., and Horatio Butters of Watertown, Mass., and several nieces and nephews.
