Obituary	The many friends of Mrs. Alphonso Crowell was pained to learn of her death that occurred at her home on Highland avenue on Wednesday p. m., March 4, after a long illness, at the age of 84 years, 7 months, 1 day. She leaves to mourn her death besides her husband, a brother, Harrison Fowles, of Mass., one son, George Crowell of Corinna, and five daughters, Mrs. W. D. Austin of this place, Mrs. B. L. Rowell of Corinth, Mrs. Willis Bickford of Newport, Mrs. Lizzie Deering of Pittsfield and Mrs. W. L. Bailey of this town who cared for her so patiently through many months of sickness and did all that loving hands could do. Funeral was held at her home on Saturday at 10 a. m. Rev. Henry Arnold of Corinna officiated assisted by Rev. Stanley Gates Spear of this town. The floral offerings were beutiful and profuse, showing the high esteem in which she was held.
