Obituary
Mrs. Mary Bowdoin Mrs. Mary Bowdoin, former wife of George Peavey, passed away on Saturday, December 30, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mabel Dunham of Dexter. Her home was with her youngest son, Eddie, in northwest Garland and she had gone by invitation to spend Christmas in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Will Dunham. She was quite feeble, having suffered from a shock two years ago from which she never fully rallied, and her last illness was brief. Memorial services were conducted at Mrs. Dunham's by Rev. S. G. Spear of Dexter. She was a faithful and devoted mother and "her children rise up and call her blessed." She left four sons and two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Dunham and Mrs. Grace Dudley, both of Dexter.
