Obituary
Miss Myra Littlefield The passing away of Miss Myra Littlefield occurred in Skowhegan Thursday, after a two weeks' illness during which period she suffered from the grip and finally from pneumonia. The remains were brought to Dexter on Friday and taken to the home of Fred Littlefield, Maple street and funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Littlefield home, the pastor of the Congregational church, Rev. Mr. Boaz, officiating. Miss Littlefield was born in Dexter and had she lived until next August, would have been twenty-four years of age. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Littlefield and besides her parents leaves two brothers, Fred and Edward Littlefield, also one sister, Miss Ida Littlefield of Dexter, to mourn this sorrow. She was a devoted member of the Dexter Congregational church, interested in its several departments of work, an attendant at the Sunday school of that society and particularly interested in Christian Endeavor, a young people's organization. She was esteemed and loved by many friends and especially by those who had come to be intimately acquainted with her, and to whom her passing away is indeed a personal loss. The sorrowing family have the sympathy of Dexter friends in this bereavement.
