Obituary	Miss Hannah Abbott The passing away of Miss Hannah Abbott, one of the oldest ladies in Dexter and a life-long resident of the town, occurred on Friday evening at her home on Church street, after a long illness. Her health has been gradually failing for the past six months and her passing away was not unexpected. Miss Abbott was born in Dexter, 84 years ago and was the daughter of Jeremiah and Lucy Abbott. Miss Abbott was a member of the First Universalist church and took an active part in its departments until failing health compelled her to relinquish her many activities. Beloved by many, she was admired for her sterling characteristics. The funeral services were held at her late home Monday afternoon. The inter- ment took place in the family lot in Elmwood cemetery.
