Obituary
James Raynor The many friends in Dexter of Mr. and Mrs. Raynor, Lincoln street, will be sorry to learn of Mr. Raynor's death, after having been in failing health for several months. Mr. Raynor was born in England and has been a resident of Dexter during the greater part of his life and with his wife had won many friends. He was employed as wool sorter at the Amos Abbott Woolen mill for 40 years. He was 78 years of age and a kindly honest man and will be missed by friends and family alike. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Sarah Fitzgerald Raynor and a son, James Herbert Raynor, who have the sympathy of Dexter friends in this sorow. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the residence on Lincoln street Rev. Sidney Wakely of the Free Baptist church officiating in the absence of the Universalist pastor, Rev. S. G. Spear. The bearers were L. H. Schoff, Frank Arnold, John Springall and Edward Witham, prominent members of the local Masonic order, of which the deceased was an honored member for many years. Interment was at Mr. Pleasant cemetery.
