Obituary	Bernice Schmidt The many Dexter friends of Owen Blackden, Sr., will learn with regret of the sorrow which has befallen him, in the passing away of his daughter, Mrs. Bernice Blackden Schmit, after an illness of several days, during which period she sufered from an attack of pneumonia. Mrs. Schmit was well known in Dexter and this section, where the family has enjoyed the friendship of many people, all of whom unite in extending deepest sympathy to the bereaved husband, father and sisters and brothers in this hour of their sorrow. Memorial services will be held in Presque Isle the present home of the family, but the remains will be brought to Dexter for interment in the Blackden family lot, Mount Pleasant cemetery.
