Obituary
Lendall Huff The death of Lendall Huff, for many years a well known resident of this town, occurred Saturday at his home on Spring street after an illness of about a month. Mr. Huff’s death came as a great shock to his many friends, a majority of whom were unaware that his illness was of so serious a nature. Mr. Ruff has resided in this town for many years and for the past 15 years has been engaged in the public carriage business. He had made many friends who deeply regret his death and who sympathize with the family. He is survived by a widow and by one son, Leeman Huff, who is in the United States Tank Corps service in France and also survived by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were conducted from the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon with a large number of people in attendance. Rev. F. Ernest Smith, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church officiated and the services of the Odd Fellows was carried out by a delegation of members of Plymouth lodge, Messrs. Fred Gove, Edward H. Witham, Arthur W. Stone and Ernest Libby. There was a profusion of flowers from friends and relatives and a handsome offering from the Odd Fellows; Burial was at Mount Pleasant cemetery.
