Obituary	Harriet S. Hamilton The passing away of Mrs. Harriet S. Hamilton, widow of the late Samuel Hamilton, occurred late Monday, after an extended illness from cancer. Mrs. Hamilton had been a sufferer from this trouble for the past several years, and her patience and fortitude during her trial was wonderful. Not withstanding her intense suffering, she was successful until quite recently in conveying no hint to her friends and family of her pain. Her Christian life has been a bright and shining example. Harriet Sturtevant Hamilton was born in Dexter, being the daughter fo Curtis and Abagail Sturtevant, one of the early well-known families of the town. She was one of eight children and had she lived until next September would have been 77 years of age. In early life she was united in marriage with Samuel Hamilton and shortly after the marriage went to Minneapolis, Minn., where they resided for awhile, later returning to Dexter. To this union three children were born, Misses Mary and Abbie Hamilton and one son, George. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton were devoted members of the First Universalist church, and were always active in church work until failing health compelled them to relinquish such activities. Funeral services took place Wednesday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, and the Rev. George F. Leighton, formerly of Dexter, but now of West Somerville, Mass., officiated. The interment was in Mount Pleasant cemetery, Dexter.
