Obituary
A host of Catholic and Protestant communicants, friends of Mr. and Mrs. Norris Bertrand, Cedar street will learn with deep sympathy of the passing away of Mrs. Bertrand at her home in this town. Mrs. Bertrand had been a sufferer during the past two weeks from pneumonia but for the past ten days hope of her eventful re- covery and return to normal health was entertained by her family and friends. Mrs. Bertrand was born in New Brunswick. Several years ago she was united in marriage with Norris Bertrand of Dexter. She was a devoted communicant of St. Ann's Catholic church, Dexter and will be sadly missed in church circles. Neigh- bors unite in paying the highest possible tribute of genuine affection, all being unanimous in stating that she was ever thoughtful, considerate and ready to be of service in the neighborhood whenever sickness or death occurred in any family circle. She is survived by a husband and several step-children, also by two brothers, James and Daniel Robi- chaud, of Dexter and several sisters residing in this section, including Mrs. Zebulon White, of Dexter. Me- morial services were held Tuesday and were private.
