Obituary
Lydia A. Ross Death of Mrs. Lydia A. Ross The many friends of Mrs. Lydia Ross were deeply grieved to hear of her death which occurred early Sunday morning, caused from pneumonia, following an attack of grippe. Mrs. Ross has conducted the Ross Cash Grocery Store on Grove street for several years, where her bright smile and pleasant ways will be greatly missed by her many friends. Mrs. Ross was a business woman of great ability and before her marriage followed the profession of a trained nurse, having graduated from the hospital at Biddeford. She leaves many friends here to remember her kindness in sickness and many other ways. She is survived by her husband, Samuel J. Ross, of this place, a mother, Mrs. J. H. Tobin, also several brothers and sisters, all of Sher- brooke, Canada. Mr. Ross accompanied the remains there for burial. Silent she sleeps, her work is done, The busy hands are now at rest, And on her face a look of peace as if on beautious scenes her vision rests.
