Obituary	Mrs. Mary Patterson Ayer Mrs. Mary Patterson, wife of Willis Ayer of this town, died Saturday morning, after a week's illness at her home on upper Main street, Mrs. Ayer was 23 years of age and was born in Sangerville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Patterson. Besides her husband, she leaves two children, the youngest but 11 weeks, her parents and two sisters, Miss Georgianna and Miss Agatha Patterson. The death of Mrs. Ayer comes as a shock here to her many friends who wereunaware of her illness. She had been a resident of this town since her marriage a few years ago and had many warm friends, who extend their deep sympathy to those whom she leaves. Funeral services were conducted from the home on upper Main street, Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Mr. McIntire, pastor of the First Universalist church officiating, and the bearers were Messrs. Glen C. Ayer, Thomas Patterson, Ralph Davis and Theodore Haseltine. Interment was made in the Ayer lot in Mount Pleasant cemetery.
