Obituary
Harold Caswell News was received here Friday of the death in Boston of Harold Caswell formerly of this town, which occurred from influenza in the Massachusetts General hospital. The deceased was 26 years of age and was the eldest son of Andrew L. Caswell, special agent of the Bangor & Aroostook railroad, formerly of this town. The deceased attended the Dexter schools and had many friends in this town who deeply regret his death. Since leaving Dexter he has been a chef in various parts of Maine, being for a long time employed in the Poland Spring House at Poland Springs. He was married while at Poland Springs and his wife, who is seriously ill with influenza in a Boston hospital, survives him. Other relatives are his father, Andrew L. Caswell, of Bangor and a brother, William, who is in the United States cavalry and is stationed in New Mexico. It is expected that the remains will be brought to Dexter for burial in the family lot at Mount Pleasant cemetery.
