Obituary	Fred Lane Fred Lane, a well known resident of this town dropped dead late Monday afternoon while digging in a ditch on lower Main street. Heart disease is supposed to have been the cause of Mr. Lane's sudden death, which came as a shock to his friends. He has been practically a lifelong resident of Dexter and for the past few months has been enjoying his usual health. Mr. Lane is survived by a widow and by a sister, Mrs. S. A. Winslow, on Zion's Hill. Funeral services were held from the late residence on lower Main street this forenoon.
