Obituary
Miss Ella Davis Dexter friends of Miss Ella Davis will regret to learn of her death, which occurred in Salem, Mass., this week at the home of her sister, Mrs. Archie Akeley, where she had made her home since leaving Dexter over a year ago, during which time she has not enjoyed good health. While a resident of Dexter, which was for many years, Miss Davis lived with her mother to whom she was very kind and faithful. She was in- terested in every department of the local church and was a constant attendant during her stay here. She was a valued member of the Woman's Relief Corps of Dexter and of the Pythian Sisters. Funeral services were held this forenoon at the Methodist church conducted by Rev. F. Ernest Smith. The two orders attended in a body, the Sisters holding their services over the remains. Interment was made in the family lot at Garland. Miss Davis leaves a sister and other relatives to mourn her death.
