Obituary
Mrs. Annie Landry The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Landry learn with the deepest regret of the passing away of Mrs. Landry at the Eastern Maine General hospital, Bangor, where she underwent a serious surgical operation. Mrs. Landry was enjoying her usual health during the early part of the week, but an abscess quickly formed and developed back of the eye and Saturday she was taken to the hos- pital, where she died Monday forenoon. Mrs. Landry was twenty-nine years old and leaves a husband and six small children, the youngest only four months old, a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Clukey, one sister, Mrs. Joseph Gilbert and two brothers, Thomas and Charles Clukey, who have the sympathy of their friends in the sorrow which has befallen them. Mrs. Landry was well beloved by all who knew her. She was a devoted communicant of St. Ann's Catholic church and was, for many years, a member of St. Ann's choir. She will be greatly missed in her home, in the neighborhood in which she lived and in church circles. Funeral services were held from St. Ann's church Wednesday at 9 o'clock, Rev. Fr. Maney officiating. The flowers were many and beautiful, being sent by the following friends: St. Ann's choir, the neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Peters, Misses Ellen and Sadie Ambrose, Mrs. Thomas Tre- Panier, Mrs. Bob Goulette, Mrs. Jerry Pullyord, Mrs. Eddie Ronco, Mrs. Edith Fanjoy, Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrrin, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Conture, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. D. Clukey, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lapointe, Mrs. L. B. Gordon and Mrs. Walter Stacy.
