GEORGE PARK Word was received here of the death last Thursday night of George Park, 80, in a Clearwater, Fla., hospital following surgery. Memorial services will be held later this spring at Wellesley Hills, Mass. Mr. Park lived in Dexter about 16 years, later moving to Newton Center, Mass., and Wellesley Hills. Born in Galashiels, Scotland, he entered the woolen manufacture in Sherbrooke, Quebec, in 1895. At one time he was superintendent of the Pontoosuc Mills, Pittsfield, Mass., and later with his uncle, David Campbell, operated the Dumbarton Woolen Company at Dexter and Sangerville. He was also treasurer of the George Park Manufacuring Co., Dexter. He leaves his wife, Florence, who for the present is at The Fenway, Dunedin, Fla.; two daughters, Evelyn (Mrs. Roger W. Leland) and Louise (Mrs. Edmund A. Workman) both of Wellesley Hills, Mass ; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
