Obituary
Mrs. Mary Dunn Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary Dunn were held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Elmer Additon, Saturday afternoon, the pastor of the Methodist church, the Rev. A. B. McAlister, officiating. A large number of the friends and neighbors of the family assembled to pay their tribute of esteem to one who had long been known for her genial ways, kindliness of heart and willingness to be of assistance to all persons needing fellowship and aid. Mrs. Dunn had not enjoyed good health during the past winter months, but during this period she was intensely interested in the work of the Dexter auxiliary and knitted 38 pairs of stockings as her contri- bution to the work of the Red Cross. Among the floral offerings noticed during the hour of memorial services were tributes from the neighbors and from Wassookeag chapter, No. 44, Order of the Eastern Star, Mrs. Dunn having been a loyal member of the order and had faithfully served in official capacity for the organiza-tion. The remains will be eventually taken to Sangerville for interment, but were temporarily placed in Mount Pleasant receiving tomb. The bearers were Messrs. John Marsh, F. O. Additon, Charles Crawford and Dunlap. Mrs. Dunn leaves a sister, Mrs. Elmer Additon of Dexter, and two brothers, William Doyle and Bradley Maxim of Pennsylvania, who have the sympathy of Dexter friends in the sorrow which has befallen them.
