Obituary	Shepherd Watson Memorial services for Shepherd Watson, one of Dexter's well-known and prominent citizens, were held at his late home on School St., Tuesday afternoon. Many friends and relatives were present to pay their last tribute of respect to the deceased. For many years Mr. Watson was superintendent of the Dexter cemeteries as well as being prominent in other affairs of the town. He was a man of genial disposition and possessed many friends and acquaintances who will sadly miss him. Mr. Watson was 83 years of age. For some time he has been failing in health, due probably to old age and his death Sunday, was not wholly unexpected. He leaves a wife who has the sympathy of the community in her bereavement. The floral offerings were many and beautiful including a set piece from the neighbors and a large emblem from Plymouth lodge, I. 0. 0. F., of which he was a valued member. Interment was at Elmwood cemetery.
