Obituary
Edwin A. Bullard The many friends of Edwin A. Bullard will be shocked to learn of his sudden death on Tuesday about 11.30 o'clock at his home on Highland Ave. Mr. Bullard had not enjoyed the best of health for the past several months, and although it was thought that he would never regain his usual health yet, his death at the present time, was entirely unexpected and comes as a shock to his family as well as his friends. Mr. Bullard has for many years been a resident of Dexter. He is a native of Magog, Quebec, coming to Dexter when a young man. He was united in marriage to Ina Tibbetts, and to this union three children were born, Morton, Ray and Arthur Bullard, all residents of Dexter. Mr. Bullard was for many years in the employ of Fay & Scott and later, worked at the painter's trade, being compelled about a year ago, to abandon an active life. He was a prominent Odd Fellow being Noble Grand of Plymouth Lodge, I. 0. 0. F., Past Chief Patriarch of Silver Lake Encampment, I. 0. 0. F., and a member of Canton Dexter, No. 8, I. 0. 0. F. He also was a member of Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge, Dexter Grange, Patrons of Husbandry. In all these organizations, he was a valued member and he will be sadly missed in these fraternal circles. Mr. Bullard was a man of sterling character and a kindly husband and father and loyal friend. He leaves a wife, three sons and other relatives who have the sympathy of the community in their sorrow. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Methodist church, Rev. A. B. McAlister, officiating.
