Obituary	Mrs. Maria Libby Funeral services for Mrs. Maria Libby were held Monday after her death at Newport, Friday afternoon from heartfailure. Mrs. Libby had been visiting her brother, John Haines at Togus, and left Augusta, Friday afternoon en route for Dexter, where she expected to spend the summer months with her relatives and friends. It is understood that she felt ill befor arriving at Newport Junction, but managed to board the branch train, where she passed away in a few minutes and before a physician could arrive. Dr. J. W. Sawyer, Medical examiner for this district, was summoned from Dexter, and after his arrival the body was taken to the rooms of a Newport undertaker and on Sunday removed to Dexter. Mrs. Libby was born in Dexter about eighty years ago. The interment was in Mount Pleasant cemetery.
