Obituary	Orpha L. Stewart Among the recent deaths to occur in Dexter is that of Mrs. Orpha L. Stewart, wife of Alpha Stewart of Swan's Island, which occurred Thurs-day at the home of her mother, Mrs. Abbie Lowell. Mrs. Stewart, because of poor health, came to this town least September to remain for a time with her mother and her health has steadily failed until death came Thursday. Mrs. Stewart was a native of Dexter and was a graduate of Dexter High school, after which she attended Farmington State Normal school from which she also graduated: afterwards, becoming a teacher in the public schools of Guilford, Dex-ter and Swan's Island. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles Lowell, and a daughter, Margaret. Her mother, Mrs. Abbie Lo- well, also survives. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the First Universalist church of this town. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Rev. Stanley Gates Spear officiating. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Orpha Lowell Stewart of Swan's Island, whose death occurred here last week, were conducted from the First Universalist church, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Stanley Gates Spear, pastor of the church, officiating. The service was attended by many friends of the deceased and the floral offerings were particularly profuse and beautiful, bearing silent testimony of the high esteem in which the young woman was held by her many friends in Dexter and elsewhere.
