Obituary
James Brown Funeral services for the late James Brown were conducted Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the home, Rev. Stanley Gates Spear of the First Uni- versalist church officiating. The services were under the auspices of Plymouth lodge of Odd Fedllows of which the deceased was a member. The services were largely attended and there were many floral offerings. The deceased has been a resident of Dexter for many years where he was em- ployed as a dyer in the Woolen mills. For several years he has been a foreman of the dye room at the Kenwood woolen mill in Corinna. He is survived by a wife, a son, Dr. J. Norman Brown of Pittsfield and a daughter, Miss Margaret Brown of this town. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb at Mount Pleasant cemetery.
