Obituary	MRS. LUCELIA STAFFORD Funeral services for Mrs. Lucelia Stafford, 87, were held Wednesday afternoon at Nan-Jacka farm, the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert Sawyer, with whom she had lived the past seven years. Mrs. Stafford died Dec. 25, after a long period of failing health. The Rev. Samuel Bowman of the Methodist Church officiated. Bearers were: Cleveland Davis, Norman Hight, both of Dexter; Fred Butler and Hiram Bane, both of Ripley. Born in Hartland, Oct. 23, 1863, the daughter of John and Eunice Seavey Osborne, Mrs. Stafford was a graduate of Maine Central Institute, Pittsfield, and taught school in Pittsfield and vicinity for 40 years. At one time she made her home in Ripley, where she was an honorary member of the Grange, and a member of the Methodist Ladies' Aid. Survivors other than her daughter are two sons, Merton of Cornville and Kenneth of Ripley; a granddaughter, Mrs. Eunice Sawyer Gould, Dexter; a grandson, Kenneth M. Stafford, Ripley; and two great granddaughters, Jacquelyn and Nancy Gould, Dexter.
