Obituary	Agnes Staples Patten Mrs. Agnes Staples Patten passed away Saturday morning at the home on Free street, after an illness of several months duration with a disease of the heart. Mrs. Patten was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Staples and in her earlier life resided in this town returning to make her home here a year ago last August, coming to Dexter from Vasalboro. Her age was about sixty years. She is survived by a husband, Walter S. Patten of Dexter, also one sister, Mrs. Emma Haley of this town, who have the sympathy of the community. Funeral services were held from the home Monday at 2 o'clock, Rev. Roy Burgess of the Congregational church, of which Mrs. Patten was a member, officiating.
