C. Frank Johnson C. Frank Johnson, one of Dexter's well known farmers, died Saturday at his home in the Barton district after a long illness from heart disease and other troubles. He was about 62 years of age. Mr. Johnson had been a resident of Dexter for many years and owned one of the finest farms in this section. He was widely known as a fruit grower and also made a specialty of the manufacture of dairy butter. For a number of years Mr. Johnson was employed as a traveling salesman for an agricultural house and was well known all over this section of Maine. Besides a widow he is survived by two sons, Harry and Forest L., and also by two daughters. Funeral services were conducted from the home in the Barton district Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Stanley Gates Spear, pastor of the First Universa- list church officiated. The bearers were Roy Thomas, R. M. Barton, Walter Bryant and Charles Carr. The services were largely attended by friends and neighbors and there were many handsome floral offerings.
