Obituary	MRS. ADDIE JACKSON Mrs. Addie Jackson, 89, widow of Charles E. Jackson, passed away Nov. 21, at the home of her son, Willis W. Jackson, in Silver's Mills, after several months of ill health. Funeral services were held at her home Friday afternoon, with the Rev. A. H. Sweet of Dover-Foxcroft, officiating. Bearers were three grandsons: Charles A. Starbird of South Sangerville, Otis J. Roberts, Jr., and Omar Roberts of Dexter; and Richard Dexter of Dover-Foxeroft. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Dexter. She was born in Sangerville July 28, 1861, the daughter of Warren and Marcia Putnam Bridges. She had lived in Silver's Mills for 59 years, the greater part of the time in the home in which she died, and was the oldest resident of the commuuity. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church of Dover-Foxcroft, intensely interested in the activities and welfare of the church, and a regular attendant as long as health permitted. She and her late husband were leaders in building the Silver's Mills Community Church and ever active in maintaining the church and arranging for services there. She was zealous in Sunday School work and many winters had a class in the home on Sunday afternoons. She was a home body, a devoted mother, affectionately known in the community as "Grammie" Jackson, a woman whose kindly face radiated goodness. Surviving are twin daughters, Mrs. Alice Roberts of Dexter and Mrs. Addie Starbird of South Sangerville; two sons, Ralph C., of Dexter, and Willis W. of Silver's Mills; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
