Obituary	Mrs. Addie Daggett Gerry Mrs. Addie Daggett Gerry passed away Tuesday morning at her late home on Highland avenue after a long illness from Bright's disease. She was born in Dexter about sixty-five years ago the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Daggett, and in early life was united in marriage to Wilbur C. Gerry. Mrs. Gerry leaves besides the husband, one sister, Mrs. Lettie Harling of Lowell, Mass., and two brothers, Nathan Daggett of Dexter and Charles Daggett of Lowell. It is understood that funeral services will be held from the home Friay afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. F. E. Smith pastor of the local Methodist church officiating. Mrs. Gerry possessed a host of friends who deeply regret her passing. The Eastern Gazette 6-12-1919, p.5 Mrs. Addie Daggett Gerry The funeral of Mrs. Addie Daggett Gerry was held from her late residence on Highland Avenue, June 13, at 2 p. m.. The service was conducted by the Rev. F. E. Smith of the Methodist church, and was appropriate and impressive. Mrs. Gerry was born in Dexter and the years of her child, and maidenhood were spent with her parents on a farm. She was married September 6, 1897, to Wilbur C. Gerry, also of Dexter. For twenty years they lived pleasantly and profitable at their farm home, after which they moved to the village where they have since resided. Mrs. Gerry was a woman of irreproachable character, and stood firmly at all times for right and justice. She was gentle, retiring and home-loving by nature and begrudged neither the labor or time, required to render her home always immaculate and in perfect order. She had been in failing health for a year previous to her death and suffered much during the past month, but when the end came ---it came so quietly,---so peacefully, that the faithful watchers at her side could but feel she merely breathe out of the temporal into the eternal. There are, to mourn her loss, her devoted husband, and one sister, Mrs. Lettie Harling, of Lowell, Mass, besides her brother, Nathan L. Daggett, and family of Dexter another brother, Charles Daggett, of Lowell, Mass., also her neighbors and friends. Faithful wife and loving sister.
