Obituary
Mrs. Georgia Hale Dexter people were saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Georgia L. Hale, Sunday morning at the home of her son, Carrol Harrington, Zions Hill. Mrs. Hale was born fifty-six years ago. Mr. Hale passed away about two years ago. Mrs. Hale was a member of the local Methodist church and was deeply interested in the church work. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday, at 10 o'clock, Rev. F. E. Smith officiating. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mrs. Hale's death came as a shock to all as she had been enjoying her usual good health when she suddenly suffered a shock Thursday morning and from that time until her death remained unconscious. She leaves besides the son, Carroll Harrington, three brothers and two sisters, who have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement. She will be greatly missed by her many friends, whom she had won during her several years of residence in Dexter, by her loving disposition and her splendid example of christian womanhood, and will greatly missed from the church circles.
