Dr. John B. Winslow Stricken with ‘heart disease in his office Thursday afternoon, Dr. John B. Winslow, 71, a dentist in West- brook 36 years, died at his home that evening. Dr. Winslow was born in Dexter, son of the late Samuel and Sarah • Lane Winslow. He was graduated from Philadelphia Dental college, now Temple University, ‘and practiced several years in Portland before gomg to Westbrook. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a ‘member of the Scottish ‘Rites ‘bodies iand St. Alban’s Commandery, was a past master of Temple lodge, ‘F. and k. M., a past ‘high priest of Eagle Royal Arch Chapter and its treasurer, a past master and past treasurer of Westbrook Council, R. and S. M., a V past patron of Mispath Chapter, 0. E. S., a member of Presumpscot Valley Lodge, K. of VP•, a charter member of West:brook Kiwanis club and it’s treasurer Uflti’l this year, a member of the First Universalist church of which he had been a deacon and collector many years, of the Portland Dental Society and Maine Association of Dentists. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Fuller Winslow to whom ‘he was married 46 years ago, a son, J. Clifford Winslow of Toledo, Ohio, two daughters, Mrs. Katherine W. Sawyer of ‘Westbrook and •Mrs. Anne W. Stan- V ford of Bangor, three grandchilth’en, Willard C. Sawyer of Westbrook, Sally Anne and John Walter Stanford of Bangor and three sisters, Mrs. Annie Murphy, Mrs. Kate Trafton, and Miss Sarah Winslow of Dexter. Funeral services were held at the V home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 V &clock and interment was in Wod lawn Cemetery.
