Funeral Friday For Willis G. Haseltine Willis G. Haseltine, 70, died Tuesday at a Bangor hospital after several weeks of failing health. He was born in Dexter, December 1, 1879, the son of William J. and Clara Harrington Haseltine. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock at the First Universalist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Theodore A. Webb, officiaing. Masonic services will also be conducted. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. A graduate of Dexter High School, class of 1898, he had lived here practically all of his life except for a time when he was employed by the American Express Company at Be1fast and Caribou. At one time he was employed here as bookkeeper at the Blaisdell Automobile Company, also at W. L. Butterfield, Inc., and more recently, until about a year ago, at the Fayscott Corporation. He was past master of Timothy Chase Lodge, A. F. and A. M., Belfast; a member of Penobscot Lodge, No. 39, A. F. and A. M., Dexter; Past patron Wassookeag Chapter, No. 44, OES, and an honorary member of the Dexter Club. He was interested and active in civic affairs, serving for many years as chief ballot clerk. He was a member and officer of the Dexter Fire Department for many years, retiring several years ago. Survivors are his wife, Marion Small Haseltine; a daughter, Miss Ruth Haseltine; a son, Arthur Haseltine; an aunt, Winifred Moody, of Thomaston; and two grandchildren, Dwight and Sylvia Haseltine.
