Obituary	FRED P. MITCHELL Funeral services for Fred Peter Mitchell, 61, who died Friday evening at his Spring street home, after a long illness, were held Monday afternoon at the Free Baptist Church. The Rev. Harold Wheeler officiated and burial was at East Corinth. Bearers were Carl Bates, Ray Fanjoy, Avon Woodard and Ray Gross. Mr. Mitchell was born in Washburn, April 7, 1889. He was employed in the Dumbarton Woolen Mill here for 25 years. He was a member of Corinthian Lodge, IOOF, East Corinth. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barrows, East Corinth; his wife, Hazel Whalen Mitchell; three daughters, Mrs. Emery Hibbard, Dover-Foxcroft, Mrs. Lester Mason of Newport Miss Verna Mitchell of Dexter; two brothers, Winfield Mitchell of East Corinth and Elmer Barrows of Garland; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
