Obituary	Mrs. Nancy Copeland Mrs. Nancy J. Copeland passed away Monday forenoon at her late home on School street after an illness of about eighteen months' duration. Mrs. Copeland was born in Dexter eighty-two years ago last August and has spent her entire lifetime in Dexter with the exception of two years in 1867 and 1868 during which time she made her home in Skowhegan. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Safford and was in early life united in marriage to Samuel Copeland, who passed away twelve years ago December 30. Mrs. Copeland was a devoted member of the Congregational church and was deeply interested in every branch of that de- nomination. She was a woman of sterling qualities, a loving mother, and a friend who was loved by all. During her long illness she has been tenderly cared for by her daughter, Miss Alice Copeland. Besides the daughter, one sister, Mrs. Stephen Fish, of Dexter survives also several cousins and other relatives. Funeral services were held from the home this morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Wilkins, pastor of the Congregational church, Dover, officiating.
