Obituary
Wilbur Fields The many friends of Wilbur Fields, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fields, Lower Main street, will learn with deepest regret of the passing away of the young man after an illness of only a few days’ duration, during which time he was a sufferer from pneumonia and tonsilitis. Mr. Fields was about twenty-one years of age, and came to this town with his parents and brothers and sister, to take possession of the splendid farm home which they had purchased of F. H. Hayes, known as the Bement farm. Since coming to Dexter, the family has acquired the friendship of a large circle of people, to whom the death of Wilbur Fields comes as a personal loss. Mr. Fields was a member of Dexter Grange, P. of H. and was an attendant at the Methodist Episcopal church of Dexter. He leaves besides his parents, several brothers and sisters residing in Dexter and others living in Aroostook county. Other members of the family residing at the farm home are very ill with pneu- monia, one of the brothers, Fayette Fields, being in a critical condition as a result of his illness.
