Obituary	MRS. LULU BOWLEY Funeral services for Mrs. Lulu Bowley, 71, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Wheeler officiated and interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were Leonard and Reginald Reeks, Evander Harriman, Winterport and Whalen Bennett, Cumberland Center. The widow of Frederick Bowley of Dexter, she died Sunday night at Cumberland Center after a long illness. She was born in Greenville, May 17, 1879, daughter of Ernest and Carolyn Mansell Gatchell. She had lived in Cumberland Center for the past 12 years. She attended Bangor schools, was a member of Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge, Dexter, and a charter member of Canton Auxiliary No. 8. Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Carolyn Nickerson of Greenville; three daughters, Mrs. Helen B. Harriman, Winterport; Mrs. Hazel M. Reeks, Dexter; Mrs. Marian Bennett, Cumberland Center; two sisters, Mrs. Edna McCarthy and Mrs. Bertha M. Beane, Bangor; five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
