Obituary	Mrs. Georgia A. McNaughton Georgia Anna (Nutter) McNaughton passed away at her home at Brockway's Mills, Sangerville, on Friday, March 4, at the age of 42 years and 8 days. The deceased was born in Ripley, Feb. 24, 1879, the daughter of John A. and Maria K. Nutter. On Nov. 11, 1901, she was united in marriage with Leonard H. McNaughton. With a kindly sympathetic nature, she endeared herself to all who knew her, always ready to assist in any time of need, living day by day the golden rule and, just as far as lay in her power, living up to Christ's doctoring "I was an hungred and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger and ye took me in; naked and ye clothed me; I was sick and ye visited me.' For a number of years her health had been very poor, and during the last year there had come a marked change, although during the last few months she had started to gain slightly, but was stricken with measles, and because of ill health was unable to surmount the added weakness, which resulted in her death. The deceased leaves to mourn her death, besides her husband, two daughters, Thelma and Grace, and three sons, Vance, John and Irving another son, Robert, died four years ago. Also her aged father, John Nutter, two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Russell and Mrs. Grace Knowles, both of Dexter and one brother, Arthur Nutter. Funeral services were held from the late home March 7, at 1 o'clock, Rev. A. I. Oliver of Guilford officiating. The floral tributes were beautiful beyond description and always herself a lover of flowers, they showed doubly the love with which she was blessed by family, neighbors and friends. The bearers were A. O. Carle, Harold Edgerly, Asa A. Carle and William Edgerly. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb at Dexter to await interment in the spring.
