Obituary
Joseph H. Larrabee Joseph H. Larrabee, for many years a resident of this town, died late Tuesday evening at his home on lower Free street following a long illness. The deceased was about 72 years of age and had been practically a lifelong resident of Dexter. For many years he was employed in the finishing department of the Morrison mills. He was a prominent member of Penobscot lodge, F. & A. M., and until ill health prevented, was a regular attendant at the meetings of the lodge in which he took a great interest. A brother, Moses Larrabee, of Parkman survives, also three nephews, one living in Parkman, one in Dover and the other in California. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday morning. (combined with 12-23-1920, p.5) Funeral services for the late Joseph Larrabee were held from his late home on Free street Friday afternoon, Rev. B. F. McIntire officiating. Penobscot lodge, No. 39 conducted the Masonic funeral service. The bearers were William Dearborn, Calvin Fassett, James Armitt and George Slater. The many beautiful floral pieces were silent messengers testifying to the high esteem in which he was held. Interment was at Mount Pleasant cemetery.
