Obituary
Mrs. Huldah Silver Dexter people were saddened by the news of the death of Mrs. Huldah Silver, which occurred July 27, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Harry Ray, Dover, at which place she has made her home for quite a number of years. Mrs. Silver had been twice married, her first husband being John Silver of Silver's Mills, the second was a cousin of the first, Mr. Ezra Silver. While living with her husband her home was in Garland, after his death, which was more than 30 years ago, she made her home in Dexter. She was a member of the Dexter Free Baptist church and al- ways interested in the welfare of the church and, especially the young people of both Dexter and Garland who knew and loved her. She was Aunt Huldah to them all, and will be missed by both the old and young. Mrs. Silver celebrated her 92 birthday Jan. 1, 1920. She lived to a good old age and has been able to go around and visit her old friends as recently as the last of June, going to Garland and Dexter. Many are the beautiful silk sofa pillows and fuilts she has made for her girl friends, and also the pastors' wives of her church, reminding them of her always. The funeral services were held today at 10 a. m. and the interment made in the Bailey cemetery, so called, in South Sangerville. She is survived by one brother, Mr. Card, of Bath.
