Obituary	Mrs. Alice Q. Thompson Mrs. Alice Quinn Thompson, widow of Daniel C. Thompson, passed away at her home on Highland avenue Tuesday evening about nine o'clock. Her illness, which has been of long duration, was the result of a fall and pneumonia developed just a short time prior to her death. Mrs. Thompson was born in Welford, N. B., and her age was seventy-seven years, ten months and eighteen days. She has made her home in Dexter for the past 29 years and she leaves a wide circle of friends among whom her friendship was ever cherished. She was a woman of beautiful character, her influence always for the best in life. She was a member of the Methodist church of Dexter. Funeral services will be held from the home Friday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. F. Ernest Smith officiating. Surviving Mrs. Thompson are three daughters, Mrs. Fred Jewett, Miss Alice Thompson and Miss Margaret Thompson of Dexter, three sons, Charles H., of Keene, N. H., Alexander Q. of Dexter, and Thomas W. of Keene, one sister, Mrs. J. W. Kirkpatrick of Hoyt Station, N. B., two brothers, John Quinn of Hoyt Station and Moses Quinn of Westfield, N. B. The family have the sincerest sympathy of the many friends in he community. 5-20-1920, p.8 Funeral services of Mrs. Alice Thompson were held at her late residence on Highland avenue Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Her pastor, Rev. F. Ernest Smith, read appropriate portions of Scripture and spoke words of consolation from the text, "Went not my heart with thee." found in II Kings 5:26. Mrs. Thompson has been in poor health for some time and unable to go out from her home to any extent for a number of years yet she has not been forgotten by her many friends and the high esteem in which she was held was evidenced by the large attendance of friends and neighbors and by the many beautiful floral tributes. Her grandsons, Reynold Thompson, Ray Jewett and S. L. Bugbee, and Wallace Bugbee acted as pall bearers. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. A woman of refinement and purest Christian character, greatly beloved, has gone to her rest and reward. 5-27-1920, p.8
