Obituary
Reuben Sampson Reuben Sampson passed away Thursday after an illness of about two weeks duration of heart trouble. Mr. Sampson was born in Dexter, the son of Darious and Nancy Sampson, and his age was seventy-six years, five months and twenty-three days. He was always interested in farming and carried on that business for many years. In 1890 he went to make his home with his sister, Mrs. Will Curtis and Mr. Curtis and has remained with them ever since that time, his death occurring at their residence on brothers survive. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 o'clock, Rev. B. F. McIntire of the Universalist church officiating. Interment will be made at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mr. Sampson leaves a wide circle of friends who will regret his passing for he was a true friend to all, and was always glad to meet new friends. To know him was to admire him, Life to him was sweet with never a fault or complaint. He seemed always satisfied with his lot. During his illness he was a most patient sufferer. Friends extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Curtis and to the brothers.
