Obituary
Mrs. Ralph Ellms Dexter people were shocked to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Grace Ellms, wife of Ralph Ellms of this town, which occurred Saturday afternoon after a sickness of but two days' duration. Mrs. Ellms was born in Dexter, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Melzer Farrar, and at the time of her death, was thirty-five years of age. She was educated in the public schools of Dexter, and in early life was united in marriage to Ralph Ellms. She has always made her home in Dexter where she leaves an unusually wide circle of friends, who are grieved to learn of her untimely death, and extend sincerest sympathy to the bereaved family. She was a member of Dexter Grange, P. of H. Besides the husband, the deceased leaves three children, Earl, Almon and Guy, the parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Farrar, one sister, Mrs. Annie Lane and three brothers, Ervin, Harold and Onel Farrar all of this town. Funeral services were held Tuesday forenoon at 10 o'clock, at the Ellms home on the Dover road. Rev. R. L. Olds, formerly pastor of the First Baptist church of this town officiated. The bearers were Winfield Roberts, Harry Brawn, Harold Weymouth and Elmer Cole. The remains were placed in the tomb at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
