Obituary	Death of Mrs. Thompson Mrs. Eliza Caswell Thompson, wife of Ernest Thompson of this town, died Saturday morning at her home on Spring street after a long illness from cancer. In November, she underwent an operation at the Russell hospital in Brewer and has gradually failed since. Mrs. Thompson was a woman of sterling character and beloved by all who knew her. She has been a resident of this town for 29 years and was 50 years of age. Be- sides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jules Pease, of this town and two brothers, Andrew Caswell of Limestone and John Caswell of Brewer. She was a member of the Church of the Messiah Episcopal, of this town, and also of Crystal Temple Pythian Sisters. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p. m. from the Episcopal church, Rev. Mr. Taylor officiating and interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
