Obituary	John Call Friends of John Call were sorry to learn of his death which occurred Sunday morning at the Fairfield Sanitorium where he had been for treat- ment. He enlisted in the Aviation service and served overseas. Before, his return home he was ill with influenza from which he never fully re- covered. Mr. Call was born in this town and had always lived here, where he was employed in the Dumbarton mill until he enlisted to serve his country. He leaves besides his father, L. R. Call, four sisters, Mrs. Harold Farrar, Misses Edith, Nellie, and Lillian Call, also an uncle, Fred Call, all of whom have the sympathy of their friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home on Center street, Rev. B. F. McIntire officiating, and a military service conducted by Edward J. Poulliot Post was held at the cemetery, Captain Percy A. Hasty commanding. There was a profusion of flowers, showing the esteem in which the young man was held by his friends. The bearers were Gordon Park, Anson Dorr, William Keyte and Dr. H. Leroy Haskell. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
