Obituary	Jotham B. Parkman Suicide by Hanging Many friends in this town of Jotham B. Parkman of upper Main street were shocked Saturday morning to learn of his death by suicide at the home of his son, J. L. Parkman, at French's Mills. Mr. Parkman took his life by hanging. The deceased had been practically a life-long resident of this town and was a highly respected citizen. He has for several months been in ill health and at times been despondent. For several months he has been making his home with his son in the French's Mills neighborhood. Local authorities were notified of the finding of the body Saturday morning and advised relatives to notify officials of Piscataquis county as French's Mills is located in that county.
