Obituary
John DuBourdieu John R. DuBourdieu, for many years a resident of this town, died Friday evening at his home on Summer street following a short illness. The deceased for many years conducted a tailoring shop on Main street but retired from this business several years ago and entered the employ of Fay & Scott, where he was employed until the shops partially closed down last winter. For several months he has been employed at the mill of the Amos Abbott Co. He was a man who had many friends and the family has much sympathy in its bereavement. Besides a widow he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. Norman Brown of Pittsfield and Miss Marion DuBourdieu, a teacher in the public schools at Gardiner and by a son, Ross DuBourdieu. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Tuesday.
