Obituary	Cyrus Spencer The death of Cyrus Spencer, an old and respected resident of Dexter, occurred very suddenly at town hall Monday, where he had gone to attend the hearing of Nelson Eugene Knights. Mr. Spencer was 78 years of age and had been in poor health suffering from heart disease for some time. He had but recently returned to Dexter after spending the winter with his daughter in Massachusetts. It is understood that his wife was not here but intended to return a few days later. The deceased was a veteran of the Civil war and a past commander of H. F. Safford Post of Dexter. His family has the sympathy of the community in the sudden bereave-ment. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2.30. He leaves besides his wife, five daughters, Miss Maude of Hartland, Mrs. Charlotte Kelly of Jamaica Plains, Mass., Miss Carrie of Boston, Mrs. Lena Call and Mrs. Albert Irving of Jamaica Plains.
