Obituary	Peleg H. Young Mrs. C. C. Palmer received news Sunday evening of the death of her father, Capt., Peleg H. Young of Bar Harbor, which occurred at the home of his son, Natt E. Young, at Milton, N. H., following an illness of several months. Capt. Young was nearly 81 years of age and for 55 years followed the sea as captain of sailing vessels engaged in foreign trade, chiefly to South American ports. He has made the voyage around Cape Horn 27 times. He also served for several years as commander of a gunboat in the Chinese navy. Besides a widow he is survived by a son, Natt E. Young of Milton, N. H., two daughters, Mrs. Leon L. Smith of Portland, Mrs. C. C. Palmer of this town, a sister, Mrs. Minnie Willard of Needham, Mass., and a brother, Capt. Owen S. Young of Portland. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Portland.
