Obituary	Melzer Farrar Melzer Farrar, one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of Dexter, passed away this morning at his home on the Dover road, his death being due to a shock. He had been in poor health for several years, and several months ago suffered a stroke of paralysis. Besides a widow he leaves three sons, Ervin, Harold and Onel. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. (also: 1-13-1921, p.8) The funeral of Melzer Farrar was held at his late home on the Dover road Saturdav morning at ten o'clock, Rev. F. Ernest Smith of the Methodist church officiating. Mr. Farrar was a lifelong resident of this town and was highly respected. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb at Mount Pleasant cemetery.
