Obituary	Mrs. Annie Littlefield The friends of Annie Littlefield, wife of R. A. Littlefield were grieved to hear of her death which occurred at her home on the Garland road, Wednesday morning, November 15, from pneumonia. Although in poor health for many years her death came as a shock to many who were unaware of her more recent illness. Mrs. Littlefield was born in Skowhegan, March 29, 1851, the daughter of Hugh and Mary Herrin. But most of her childhood was spent in Exeter, where the, family moved when she was but five years of age. Dec. 1, 1872, she became the wife of Royal A. Littlefield and in 1877 moved to Dexter where they have since resided and had she lived until Dec. 1, she would have celebrated her fiftieth wedding anniversary. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Fred Littlefield and Edward Littlefield, and one daughter, Mrs. Ida Stewart, all of this town. Three grandchildren, Paul and Althea Littlefield, and Robert Stewart, also one sister, Mrs. Maria Lancaster of Canaan, and one brother, George Herrin of Biddeford. The funeral was held from the late home Friday, Nov. 17. The service was conducted by the Rev. B. F. McIntire of the First Universalist church. The floral offerings were many and beautiful, and showed the high esteem in which the deceased was held. Interment was In the fami1y lot in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
