GEORGE McKENNEY Funeral services for George McKenney, 65, killed in an automobile accident April 4, at Milo, were held Friday afternoon at the Crosby funeral home, Dexter. The Rev. Werner Johnson, former pastor of the Calvary Pentecostal Church, oficiated. Prayer was offered by Murray King, and Mrs. Werner Johnson sang. Bearers were John Hanson and Clarence McKenney of Dexter; Walter and Emerson McKenney, Corinna. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery later this season. He was born in Lincoln, May 12, 1884, son of Fred E. and Sarah (Wheelden) McKenney. He was employed at the Otto Produce Company. Surviving are his wife, Rilia Cookson McKenney; a son, Henry of Dexter, who escaped serious injuries in the crash; several married stepchildren, all of Dexter; three brothers, Clarence, of Dexter, Walter and Emerson of Corinna; one sister, Mrs. John Hanson of Dexter; and several grandchildren.
